Seattle Shopping

Seattle is home to both unique boutique shopping as well as mainstream well known and trusted brands. There are several shopping districts that offer distinctive personalities and a diversity of retail experiences. From the flagship Nordstrom, Fran's Chocolate, Pacific Place Mall, and Westlake Shopping Center in downtown Seattle, to the trendy boutiques and one of a kind treasures in Ballard, Fremont, and Capitol Hill - there is something to delight everyone!

Downtown Seattle

Downtown Seattle shopping offers a little something for everyone. Head over to Pike Place Market for fresh florals locally farmed produce, or an original Seattle souvenir. Pacific Place Shopping Center, and Westlake Mall offer over 3 floors of retail options as well as the flagship Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. Stroll down Fifth Avenue and you'll find several other noteworthy storefronts worth spending some time.

 


International District

Located at Maynard Ave and Weller St, this exotic shopping district will transport you to the sights, tastes and sounds of Asia. This colorful consortium of shops, restaurants and cafes represents more than a dozen cultures including Chinese, Japanese and Pacific Islander. Uwajimaya is an Asian specialty supermarket providing a wide variety of Asian goods - a must see while visiting this area! There are also several dining options to experience dim sum with friends.

 


Capitol Hill District

A great place to see the unusual, Capitol Hill caters to the hip and eccentric. Adjacent to downtown, this funky shopping district features numerous retro clothing stores, and playful boutiques. Capitol Hill is also home to several of Seattle's most innovative Chefs and restaurants - with an abundance of popular eateries lining the streets.

 


Queen Anne

This stylish and historic neighborhood borders the Seattle Center area and features beautiful Victorian homes, sweeping views of downtown Seattle and the waterfront, interesting store fronts filled with jewelry, clothes and home furnishings. There are also several dining options to visit before heading to a show at Key Arena or McCaw Hall.

 


Ballard

This hip neighborhood is located just northwest of downtown Seattle and is a destination all its own. Ballard has grown into a foodie's haven with some of Seattle's well-known culinary masters opening new restaurants. In addition, this neighborhood has several unique boutiques and shops to stroll through in order to find that perfect one of a kind gift.

 


Fremont

The artsy, funky roots of this distinct neighborhood northwest of Seattle have been transformed by new development into a swankier neighborhood of shops and restaurants. Moms with strollers and software programmers browse retro and vintage stores for that unique modern find.
